day 183: our mountain fairy garden
day 184: mountain view sunset

...from our Fairy Garden to yours.
i do love the white, gulf sand; but this beach was beautiful. the girls had the most fun in the ocean that i think they have ever collectively (that was a terribly awkward sentence. maybe it made a little sense)!
and how could you not with uncle jay kicking, shooing, and splashing the waves before they got to you!
i think so much of their fun had to do with their ages.
and this little girl loved it. she was so brave and joyful (ok, and sassy!)!
i almost left my camera at the house on this afternoon. it looked like rain, and i knew the overcast skies would be beautiful for pictures!
but given my track record with cameras and water...it was debatable whether or not i should even go out with my camera!
but i did, and i'm thankful!
because these are some sweet memories...
of some sweet girls...
and a boy! love their smiles so much!
it was so much fun to watch the cousins interact. the little girls adore kira, and she played just as well and was just as kind to them as she was to addie.
there was lots of sandcastles and digging and huge sand holes!
and this one loves her little brother so much!
this cutie. oh i just can't get enough of him!
he loved the beach and the sand and the sun.
he watched his sisters and cousins
...and ate sand!
and now that you've had andrew overload (but oh my word! how cute is he!), i think this is my favorite set of beach pictures. if you look closely, you can see addie had been knocked down by the waves. anne perry is stretching and reaching to grab addie's hand and pull her up. i love how she loves addie and how she loves to help others. there's a lot of natural mother in anne perry!
love these girls! all so different and so precious at the same time! they all played amazingly well together for an entire week.
and i love these two boys so much!!!
the bubbles were almost as much of a treat as the popsicles!
and i love the pictures of the girls.
this one's smile is as big as her passion for life!
i dont know when this one got so very big. i love watching her grow and witnessing her want to grow as a little person. what an honor it is to be her mommy!
this was a last minute shot. the girls wanted to sit on the log. the picture of the 3 of them is precious, but then we plopped andrew down and he smiled! perfection x4!
my beautiful niece and handsome nephews!
aunt millie, kira, uncle jay, simon and john: our precious family. we're so thankful for them and the time we get to spend with them.
and i love this picture of the six (!) of us! thanks aunt millie for taking it!
happy happy beach babies!
