Play

Absolutely nothing profound to say. Just trying to keep up right now. The girls have gone back to waking up at least twice in the night. After dropping that to none only weeks after birth, it's been a readjustment. Needless to say, we're tired.

These were taken a few weeks ago. Still amazes me how much these little girls have changed. How quickly time seems to move and at the same time creeps by. It makes me joyful and sad all at the same time.

...make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace... Colossians 4:5b-6a

A few of my goals: Play hard. Enjoy every moment...or as many as I can. Snuggle lots. Rub backs. Smell sweet baby heads. Twirl Addie's curls. Hold hands. Cuddle babies. Draw with chalk. And worry about the laundry, dishes, and everyday problems later. It's not easy. And I don't succeed often; but when I do, it's fabulous!

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.--George Bernard Shaw

Like being able to enjoy just running...back and forth. Back and forth. And still having more energy!

  1. Beautiful pictures (as always). The series of Addie running is stunning.
