A Snowy Surprise...Pictures Finally

As I already posted on my other blog, we just don't get snow this far south. Our extremes tend to come in mid-summer when we have 120 degree heat index with 100% humidity. Have you ever tried to breathe in that? But not this day! This was early morning, before the ground was completely covered in several inches!

I am thankful Audrey Kate and Anne Perry were snuggled together in utero for this freezing weather but will be, Lord willing, healthy, happy and several months out of utero when our heat index climbs to its highest!

Addie wasn't quite sure she wanted to be outside walking in the snow at first. In fact, she ran out of it!

But that didn't last long!

 

After a while, she started picking it up and just chunking it!

She even decided that she'd try to eat some...

...but either it was too cold or didn't have enough flavor!

I had to post this picture because to me, it was a me look. Eyebrows raised a little, hand out, clearly telling something what to do. I don't often (ever) think Addie looks like me...but here she was at least giving one of my looks :)

She had so much fun that it was virtually impossible for me to catch her eyes. I finally got her to at least look at me here!

But as you can see, Kat had to be the one to pick her up and drag her back inside because she was throwing such a tantrum! Check out that arched back! Now imagine the screams!

She might end up being a little snow bunny after all...
