Well my old-old camera was sitting around collecting dust. think the canon t4i back a generation to the original rebels to maybe 3 versions back. so maybe 7 versions old. it isn't worth selling. i used it as a backup camera up until a few months ago; but for some reason, i couldn't part with it. maybe because it was my first dslr.
maybe because of this little mini-me who begs to take pictures with my camera (!), enjoys having her picture taken more and more, and really is growing up entirely too quickly right before my eyes!
i was trying on a swimsuit this afternoon and my clothes started disappearing. audrey kate had put on my shirt. and before i knew it, addie was hiking up my athletic pants attempting to keep them on. of course anne perry wasn't going to be left out, so i went searching for a shirt for her, and i found addie putting on my jeans (?) and attempting to button them. by then, i'd confiscated my t-shirt and pants, so she needed something else to wear.
finally she was in something besides only her panties, even if it was my rolled up held up with a belt jeans and entirely too big shirt.
but could she be any more serious? i told her that sometimes i take a picture of "miss" allison while "miss" allison is taking a picture of me taking a picture of her; and addie thought that was a fabulous idea! so we went outside and did it!
my shot:
and hers:
she loves to immediately see what she's taken.
and we're working on using the zoom on the zoom lens...then again, maybe if i train her on a fixed lens, she'll just keep being the zoom herself ;o)

♥
gracious lands i love this little girl!
Awesome!!!
