Under 100
Have you noticed that we have under 100 days to go? Not that it's an exact science nor that twins follow the 40 weeks general delivery date...but that little counter over there is under 100!
But before we even hit under 100 days, we've completed a few things on our checklist:

- Addie's new bed, comforter and sheets...check.
- Addie's dresser: paint and get/put on drawer knobs...check.
- order shades for Addie's room and valences and shades for the twins room...check.
- recover valence for Addie's room...check.
- paint, cover, and attach ribbon to letters for Addie and girls (full names...29 total letters)...check.
- bedding for the twin's room...check.
- make mobiles...check.
- put 0-6 month clothes in closet and drawers...check.
- paint Addie's and twin's room...check (this weekend thanks to Paul's mom! pictures to come!)
- arrange the twin's room...check.
- find a reasonable rug for the twin's room...check.
- put together Addie's bookcase and figure out how to fit everything in her tiny room...check.
- wait for and assemble a replacement crib...long story
- hang valences, shades and mobiles
- bring Addie's kitchen from my mom's where it's hiding
- hang pictures, letters, etc on walls in both rooms
- take pictures!!!!

25 Week Ultrasound
Well bottom line, the girls are doing great! That's what matters. They are measuring perfectly and Baby A weighs 1lb 10oz and baby B weighs 1lb 11oz. We could not ask for anything more! Praise God!
But our ultrasound tech today had a lot to be desired. She was curt and short with us, something our other two techs have never been. They always took the time to let us see the girls, watch them move, ooo and ah over them, find fingers and toes, make sure they were still girls, everything. This one took measurements faster than I've ever seen and jumped to the next screen! We were back there for less than 10 minutes.
There was one point where she was measuring one of the girls heads and there was something moving on the screen. We all piped up and said...is that a hand/arm or a foot/leg? Whatever was there was literally on the screen for 5-8 seconds, plenty of time to make it out if you knew what you were looking at. She just sat there like we were crazy and then was like, oh, i don't know and it's gone now and kept going.
Therefore, I have not a single good picture to show you! They were hardly readable and the ones that were showed half a head and the heart or something completely random like that. I was so disappointed, as Paul's mom got to come with us today. We did get to hear the little heartbeats and watch the very quick measurements be done, but it made me sad that she didn't get to see what we've been able to see in the past.
I got weighed again and have gained 16lbs from my prepregnancy weight. The doctors won't count it, but I've technically gained 24lbs from the weight I was after I lost so much right before and after surgery. They may not count it...but I do! So, I guess I'm just "all baby" as they say. I still feel like I look like I did when I was 8 months pregnant with Addie, and I'm outgrowing clothes by the day. My doctor is very pleased with the growth and measurement of the girls. Therefore, I will keep eating and keep eating and keep eating!
Our number one prayer is for these babies to go full term. (remember, full term for twins is 36-37 weeks). That puts us mid to the end of April. As of today, Baby A is head down face up and in the delivery position. This is what we'd have to have in order for me to even attempt a traditional delivery. But that's all in God's hands. A lot can (and will) change from now to then, and we know that God has it all worked out perfectly.

Mid-Week Musings...
We were late to MMO yesterday for 2 reasons:
1.) Addie wanted to cuddle and I sure wasn't about to rush her. It was precious and sweet and I 'm so thankful for that time with her. It is quickly fleeting.
2.) I jumped out of the shower to a too quiet room only to find Addie dumping out the 2nd half of an entire bottle of gatorade in her lap on the floor that I was so looking forward to drinking after my shower. How she got the top off, I'll never know!
The girl's (all 3 of them) valences and shades came today. They are beautiful, and I'm eternally grateful to my mom for helping us have them made.
I was 25 weeks on Monday. I wrote a whole post last week on making it to 24 weeks and never published it. Bottom line: I continue to thank God for His faithfulness throughout this pregnancy, every bit of it being orchestrated by His hand. We have an ultrasound on Thursday, and I can't wait to see these girls again.
I had a much needed girl's night Monday with 5 other friends from high school. We're all completely different than we were almost 15 years ago and yet the same, but it's so refreshing to reconnect with Godly, encouraging friends!
I have either a terrible cold or a sinus infection. Can't breath. Coughing. And I've almost completely lost my voice. Miserable. But...I'm not throwing up, and I couldn't be more thankful!
Fuzz the cat just grabbed one of Addie's toy spoons and carried it down the hall making the strangest crying sound. She acts like such a dog. Weird cat.
My aunt is coming today with an entire car/trunk load of bigger maternity clothes, baby gear, and some baby clothes all from a cousin. My aunt has this way of finding out a need and working magic to meet it. Really.
Paul's mom is coming Thursday to see the ultrasound with us and then staying for a visit and to paint the girl's rooms. I'm worried it's going to be too much for us to complete, but then again, she can work (speedy) magic with paint!
Addie thinks in days of the week now, at least for the first 4. RieRie church Sunday. Sara Monday. Deborah Tuesday. Cady Wednesday. Kindermusik with Ms. Sara is on Mondays. MMO with Ms. Deborah is on Tuesdays. Cady comes to spend the afternoon with us Wednesdays.
Three nights of success in a big girl bed...answer to prayer. Waking up to Addie walking in our room in the morning, sneezing, and saying "Bless you Addie" at 6:30am...a little early but precious.
And that was officially the most random post I've ever written...but I'm ok with that!

Our Girl's Names...Finally!
Ok. So I had no idea that I'd make so many people "mad" by just posting the girls initials! It was Wordless Wednesday! I even got emails and texts and comments all about how "mean" I was for not putting the names at the bottom of the post! :)
Clearly, I know no one was mad; and I'm certain that you don't think I'm mean. I was really planning on waiting until we did our ultrasound on Thursday before posting the names. You know, so I would have updated pictures to go along with them!
But without further teasing or drama, I'll share the names; considering I heard Addie talking about one of them by name earlier today! In fact, I'll let her share them with you!
We aren't planning to decide which baby will be named what until they are born, although I have an idea who is who. (whom is whom?)
And just in case you couldn't understand 22 and 1/2 month old speak, here are the actual names:
Name 1: Audrey Kathryn
Explanation: No, we are not fascinated with the Hepburns, but we loved the two names together. With Addie, we chose one family name and one new name. Sara (Kathryn) and Kathryn are dear friends of our family. Although they are named for my great aunt, we are naming one of the babies after them. Since they are considered family, that's our family name. And Audrey...we just loved it.
Name 2: Anne Perry
Explanation: Perry was my great grandmother's maiden name. We've always thought it was a beautiful name. We had not originally planned to do two "A" names, but after realizing we'd have one "A" name, Paul got to thinking about others. So after exploring a million "A" names, we landed on Anne to go with Perry.
So what will we call them?
Audrey Kate and Anne Perry
Yes, we're going with double names and so excited about it!
So there they are..our girls!

I couldn't resist posting this video too. This is the 1st video i took of Addie. The video cut off before she said "bye ya'll" but it was her facial expressions and how she said the names that just cracked me up. So here's our "outtake"!
