Ha-ha-ha-ha!
Loud and long and clear!
Movie quote! Any guesses?
We rented it for Addie while we were in the mountains. And while this quote wasn't one of her favorite parts, I couldn't help but mention it!
You may remember Anne Perry's Woody Woodpecker laugh, but we've also been trying to get Audrey Kate mimicking Paul's Evil Genius Laugh for several weeks now!
And here it is!
Mwahahahaha!

Funny Friday
i've been trying to get this laugh on video for months now!
anne perry's woody woodpecker laugh.
she has a wonderful belly laugh when she's really tickled, but this one is different.
she usually does it in response to someone else laughing.
and it always brings a smile to my face!

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

Laughter...the absolute best medicine!
I'm doing this post from my iPhone. So we'll see how it turns out!
I was quietly sitting outside the twin's room yesterday going through boxes of clothes. Putting up. Sorting. Deciding what to consign.
I don't normally do anything near their door during naptime. But yesterday, it was the best place to pile the boxes.
It was getting towards the end of naptime. I'd heard some stirring. Addie was up.
And then I heard cackling coming from the babies' room. Addie was with me. There were no toys in the beds.
I ran to grab the video monitor to try to see what was going on. Of course they were out of the camera's view, but it didn't stop me from hearing them!
What was so awesome to me about all of this was that Anne Perry & Audrey Kate were making each other laugh. They were interacting without any assistance from others! And they were cracking each other up!
I can assure you that none of the following involves any tears, although at times it might sound like they're crying. You can hear Addie in the background & me not allowing her to interrupt their laughter by going in their room.
It was a precious, priceless first...& probably one of the strangest videos you'll ever watch...because you won't see much of them at all!
But it's not about what you can see...it's about what you can hear!
Enjoy!

Laugh Like There's No Tomorrow
...because you can!
One of my favorite things to hear is Addie laugh. When she gets going, it turns into an all encompassing laugh! Joy at it's finest!
Paul went to a training session in Atlanta about two months ago. I had a dog class with Addie; and my mom was tutoring, so Diane was sweet enough to let me bring Addie to her. As you might remember, Addie adores Tyler and Ellie; but Tyler has a special place in her heart. He can look at her, and she'll crack up. Well, get him dancing or being silly; and it's all over!

I hadn't gotten Addie's true, long laugh on video yet; but Diane did, and I love it! Thanks Di!
Back closer to the beginning of June, Paul was playing with Addie; and I started hearing that laugh! I walked in, and this is what they were doing!
I'm not sure who was having more fun!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Laugh, Baby, Laugh
Addie loves to laugh...but we never know what will set her off?
Sometimes it's what she sees.
Sometimes it's something we do.
Inevitably it's the dogs.
Here are a few videos of Addie laughing:
with the dogs
with her Mommy
with her Gramma
at herself!
with Abbey
(this ones a little long, but the first 30 seconds are pretty cute!)

Nicely Adjusted
Just in case we wondered, Miles and Fuzz seem to have adjusted nicely to having an infant in the house.

Tonight as I was taking Addie's dress off before her bath, I stood her up; and her dress stayed on her head. Paul went and grabbed the camera, and we managed to get a few good shots. She obviously found it rather humorous too (or maybe we were just funny looking laughing at her!). Needless to say, we thought it was cute.
